Potential Problems:
Cracked Enclosure
Potential Cause:
Unfortunately packages are sometimes mishandled during the shipping process and can cause cracked enclosures during transit.
Solution:
If your enclosure is broken during transit please contact us at support@mboards.co.
Potential Cause:
Physical contact with the ground, curb, or debris in road.
Solution:
Once your enclosure is cracked there isn't a whole lot you can do. Glues and Adhesives can be used to make a simple repair, but if the damage is too great, we recommend replacing it.
Broken Screw Holes
Potential Cause:
Over tightening mounting hardware can cause the screw holes to break leaving the enclosure unable to be mounted in the future.
Solution:
Be sure to only tighten your mounting hardware just enough to keep the enclosure fixed onto the board, over tightening does not benefit the build or increase enclosure durability.
Potential Cause:
The contents of your enclosure may be too heavy.
Solution:
Most of the time your enclosure is capable of supporting the weight of your battery and ESC, BUT enclosures are not designed to support the full weight of your battery and other electronics long term. To prevent screw holes from giving out, use velcro to attach your battery to the bottom of the deck to keep the weight off of your enclosure. This will extend the life if your enclosure significantly.
Battery and ESC do not fit in Enclosure:
Potential Cause:
Battery and ESC exceeds enclosure capacity.
Solution:
Be sure you reference the listed product dimensions in the description of each product before purchasing. If it is too late and you have already received your enclosure please email us at support@mboards.co.
Solution:
Many times your battery may fit but with out enough room for your ESC. If this is the case, a 2nd enclosure specifically for your ESC is recommended.
If you have a problem that is not listed here please email us support@mboards.co.
