If you decided to have your FocBox pre-programmed, then you'll have a set of special instructions to complete your build.
Once we program the FocBox for you, you'll have to make sure every connector is plugged into the same exact port that we had them plugged into during the programming process. We have gone ahead and color coded each of the phase wires of the motor to match the port it needs to be plugged into on the FocBox.
In this case, you can ignore the color of the shrink wrap and base your connections off of the colored labels.
During the programming process, we also have to set each motor's direction. To ensure that your motors spin the correct direction, it is important that you mount it to the correct side of the trucks. We've added a corresponding colored label to each of the wire harnesses as well as each side of the trucks. Be sure to match these colors as well.
Once you have your cables plugged in it should look something like this. It looks a little chaotic, but if you look closely you'll see that we are simply plugging in everything by color.
The only 2 cables that you have to plug in that aren't labeled are the 2 sensor wires. Just as the main tutorial explains, you'll just need to be sure you plug each sensor wire into the same side as that motor's phase wires are plugged into.
In this case, we recommend that we cross the phase wires once the FocBox is installed in the enclosure to help with cable management.
And that's it!
